ECC Weekly Honor Roll
Sunnie Diamond, Queens (So, G - Hiram, Ga.)
Diamond averaged 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks on the week. Diamond began the week notching a career-high 24 points, 10 rebounds, four steals, and three blocks in the victory against Staten Island. The sophomore concluded the week with 9 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and three assists against UDC Saturday afternoon.
Darren Fergus, Molloy (So, G - Freeport, N.Y.)
Fergus was a force for the Lions this week, averaging 14.5 points, 8.5 assists, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.5 steals per game. The senior tallied 15 points while dishing out eight assists in the win over UDC before putting up a career-high nine assists and six steals to go with 14 points and eight rebounds against CSI.
Messiah Mallory, Staten Island (So, C - Watervliet, N.Y.)
Mallory averaged 16.5 points, 11 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks per game for the Dolphins across a pair of games this past week. After recording a double-double against Queens on Wednesday, Mallory helped lead the Dolphins to a win over Molloy on Saturday with 23 points, nine rebounds, and five blocked shots. Saturday's win marked the second time this season that Mallory has blocked at least five shots and he now has five double-doubles this season.
Jahmir Marable-Williams, Dist. Columbia (Sr, G - Philadelphia, Pa.)
Marable-Williams averaged 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.0 steals per game on the week. He also shot at 69.6 percent from the field. In the game against Molloy, he posted a team and season-high 22 points, while grabbing seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals. In the win over Queens, he added 14 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

ECC Team Notes
Daemen: Daemen (10-6, 3-3 ECC) has won five-straight and seven of its last eight games. The Wildcats closed out non-conference play with an 88-74 win over Assumption last Monday and evened its East Coast Conference record to 3-3 following an 82-65 win over Roberts Wesleyan on Wednesday. Daemen leads the ECC in team defense (65.9 papg) and has limited six of its last eight opponents to less than 70 points. Daemen was ranked ninth in last week's D2SIDA East Region poll. Junior Dylan Fasoyiro (Houston, Tex.) is averaging a team-high 15.6 points during the five-game winning streak. Junior Justin Hemphill (Buffalo, N.Y.) has averaged 12.0 points and a team-high 7.6 rebounds during the five game winning streak. The Wildcats begin a stretch of four-straight road games on Tuesday (Jan. 17) when they travel across town to face D'Youville in an ECC game. Daemen will close the week with a league game at District of Columbia on Saturday (Jan. 21). |

District of Columbia: UDC split a pair of conference games to go 1-1 on the week. They fell to Molloy on the road in a highly contested match up before heading back home to pick up the Win over Queens College. Next, up they head to Rochester on Monday to compete against Roberts Wesleyan. |

Mercy: The Mercy College men's basketball team went 0-1 on the week with a loss to No. 18 St. Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday. The Mavericks were led by graduate student Sean Smith Jr. who had a team-high 21 points. Mercy resumes action on Wednesday when they play at Molloy at 7 p.m. |

Roberts Wesleyan: Roberts (6-9, 4-3 ECC) went 1-1 last week. The Redhawks lost to Daemen, 82-65 but defeated D'Youville, 94-80. Roberts will host UDC on Monday and CSI on Saturday. |
