Daemen’s Sischo Earns Consensus All-America Status

Daemen College men’s basketball standout, Andrew Sischo, has been named an All-American by both the National Basketball Coaches Association (NABC) and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA).

This marks the second straight season that Sischo has earned All-America accolades. After a D2CCA Second Team selection last year, Sischo moved up to the First Team for his 2019-20 performance. He was also among 16 student-athletes selected to the NABC list (the NABC does not divide their selections into First, Second, or Third Teams).

Sischo, also the ECC and DIICCA East Region Player of the Year, was a double-double machine for the Wildcats. He finished the season with averages of 24.9 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. His points per game total was good for eighth in all of Division II, while his rebounds per game mark was second. He also led the country with 22 double-doubles and 362 total rebounds and finished 10th with a 64.5 field goal percentage.

In addition, Sischo set ECC single-season records with 773 points and 298 field goals made on the season.
