ECC Basketball Championship Finals to Stream on ESPN

West Babylon, N.Y. - On Friday morning the NCAA announced that the finals of the East Coast Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships will be streamed nationally on ESPN.com and the ESPN app as part of the NCAA Division II Showcase.

The finals of the ECC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships will take place on Sunday, March 8 at the UDC Sports Complex on the campus of the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C. The women's final begins at 12:05 p.m., while the men tip-off at 2:35 p.m.

This marks the third time the finals of an ECC Championship has been featured as part of the Division II Showcase. The conference's men's and women's lacrosse championships were chosen in both 2017 and 2019.

Six teams qualify for the championship tournament in both men's and women's basketball. The first round will take place on campus sites on March 4. The semifinals will also take place in Washington, D.C. on March 7. Participating teams and the official brackets will be revealed on www.eccsports.org at the conclusion of regular season play this coming weekend.
