Edinboro, Pa. – LIU Post senior guard Tobin Carberry has been named to the Daktronics NCAA Division II Men's Basketball All-America Third Team.
Carberry, the East Coast Conference and Daktronics East Region Player of the Year, adds another honor after guiding the Pioneers to an 18-9 record. A 6'3" guard, he averaged 18.6 ppg. and 5.8 rpg, while making 57 of 143 3-pointers. It marked the second season the native of Hamden, Conn. was a first-team All-ECC pick. He finished his three-year career at LIU Post with 1,244 points after playing one season at Southern Connecticut.
Carberry is one of four East Region players to be recognized, joining CACC Player of the Year, Garrett Kerr from University of the Sciences, a Second Team selection, and Eric Jean-Guillaume of Franklin Pierce and Dominykas Milka of St. Rose, honorable mention recipients.
