Central Islip, N.Y. - After a brief hiatus, the University of Bridgeport and C.W. Post men's basketball teams have earned a spots on the 2010 East Region Poll.
The Pioneers regained the 10th spot on the poll after going 2-0 in ECC play this past week. The Bridgeport Men's Basketball team still remains in the top 10 after a 2-1 week in ECC play, which dropped the Purple Knights two spots into 9th place in the region. Bridgeport and C.W. Post are the only ECC teams currently ranked in the East Region.
The regional rankings will be released weekly on Wednesdays through March 3, 2010. Selections will take place via a Web-cast selection show on NCAA.com, Sunday, March 7.
