BUFFALO - The D'Youville University men's soccer team hosted Seton Hill University at Dobson Field on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Griffins by a score of 4-0.

The Saints saw their first scoring opportunity in the 10th minute, when freshman Evan Osetkowski (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) put a shot on goal, but it was turned away. After falling into a 2-0 deficit, the Saints saw another scoring opportunity in the 31st minute when sophomore Aaron Baffour (Anchorage, Alaska) got off a shot, but it was smothered by the Griffins' keeper. Freshman Finn Savage (Wrexham, Wales) put a shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but that one was also saved. In the second half, the Saints continued to pepper the Seton Hill goalkeeper, getting off 10 shots, but couldn't capitalize. In the 70th minute, freshman Ethan Robinson (Toronto, Ontario) had a shot miss off the right woodwork. Freshman Jake Marks (London, England) and sophomore Josh Marer (Cohoes, N.Y.) each spent 45 minutes in goal for the Saints, Marks making four saves and Marer saving nine.

Next up for the Saints is an ECC conference matchup when they face Daemen University at Dobson Field on Wednesday, September 27th, at 2:30 p.m.
