STAC Women's Soccer Suffers 5-1 Loss at Daemen

Amherst, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Soccer team dropped a 5-1 ECC result to Daemen University on Saturday afternoon at Williamsville South High School Stadium.

STAC falls to 2-10-1 overall and 1-5-1 within the ECC, while Daemen improves to 7-3-3 and 5-0-1.

Kylie Miranto tallied a hat-trick and added an assist for the Wildcats, while Tatyjana Scalisi and Brooke Amato also contributed to the hosts' offense with goals. Ella Connolly netted her fourth goal of the season for the Spartans.

Haley Liss got the start in net for STAC and allowed a goal in a little over 21 minutes of action, before being replaced by teammate Catalena Robson. Robson (L, 0-6-1) stopped four of eight shots over the final 68:52. On the other end of the field, Becca Schultz (7-3-3) went the distance for Daemen and allowed only one goal on 13 shots.
