STAC's Second Half Rally Falls Short in 4-3 Loss to Staten Island

Sparkill, N.Y. - Despite a two-goal second half surge, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Soccer team's rally fell short, with the College of Staten Island taking 4-3 decision on Saturday afternoon at Spartan Field.

STAC slips to 2-8-1 overall and 1-3-1 in ECC play, while CSI improves to 3-4-4 and 1-3-1.

Isabella Radovini tallied two goals and added an assist, while Kolleen Rodriguez and Jacquelyn D'Amico also scored goals for the Dolphins in the match. Ella Connolly picked up her third goal of the season for the Spartans, while Lilly Lawson and Arianna Tribble each scored their first goals of the year.

In between the sticks, Catalena Robson (L, 0-4-1) got the start for the maroon and gold and stopped three of seven shots faced. Meanwhile, Sara Villacres helped the visitors to victory with eight stops on eleven shots.
