Queens, N.Y. - Despite receiving a spectacular free kick goal from midfield by keeper Catalena Robson, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Soccer team suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hand of Queens College on Wednesday evening at Varsity Field.

STAC slips to 2-9-1 overall and 1-4-1 within the ECC, while Queens improves to 5-6-3 and 2-3-1.

In addition to Robson's first career collegiate goal, Sophie Stanley added to the Spartans scoring with her second of the year. Jackyn Diel, Jenna Rosenberger, Anna Tavantzis and Julia Ragone each tallied goals for the Knights.

Meanwhile in net, Catalena Robson (L, 0-5-1) stopped four of eight shots faced for St. Thomas Aquinas, while on the other end of the field, Katelyn Villacres (W, 2-0-0) made five stops on seven shots for Queens.

How it Happened
