Central Islip, N.Y. - As part of NCAA Division II's new media agreement, the finals of the East Coast Conference Men's and Women's Lacrosse Championships will be streamed nationally on WatchESPN and the ESPN app, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The finals of the ECC Men's and Women's Lacrosse Championships will take place on Saturday, May 6 at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium on the campus of LIU Post in Brookville, N.Y. The women's final begins at 12:00 p.m., while the men face-off at 3:00 p.m.

Four teams qualify for the championship tournament in both men's and women's lacrosse. The semifinals will take place on campus sites on May 3 for the men and May 4 for the women. Participating teams will be revealed on www.eccsports.org at the conclusion of regular season play this coming weekend.

"We are very excited  to have the opportunity to work with WatchESPN and NCAA Division II to broadcast our 2017 East Coast Conference Men's and Women's Lacrosse Championships," said ECC Commissioner, Dr. Robert Dranoff. " We know that this is the first time that NCAA Division II is streaming regular season competitions in these sports  and the  ECC is proud to help showcase DII lacrosse."
