Monumental Network to Broadcast East Coast Conference Basketball Tournament March 5-6

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Monumental Network and the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) today announced a partnership to broadcast the East Coast Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament hosted by the University on March 5-6, 2016. A total of six NCAA games will be broadcast.  

“The East Coast Conference is truly excited to host our 2016 basketball championships at the University of the District of Columbia this year, and we are also pleased to be working with Monumental Network to help us showcase what we know will be two great days of ECC basketball,” East Coast Conference Commissioner, Dr. Robert Dranoff said. “We know that D.C. will be a wonderful site for this year’s tournament, and we thank the University of the District of Columbia and Monumental Network for all of their support.”

The agreement between Monumental Network and the University of the District of Columbia includes cross-promotion of the game broadcasts on UDC’s cable channel, digital advertising and promotional opportunities.

We could not be more excited to broadcast six live NCAA games nationwide via our Monumental Network web platform.”

Women’s semifinal action tips-off Saturday, March 5 at 12 p.m. and the second women’s game following at 2:30 p.m. Men’s action starts with the first semifinal game at 5 p.m. and the second game at 7:30 p.m. Final tournament action starts on Sunday with the women at 12 p.m. and the men at 2:30 p.m.

Monumental Network was the first platform to live stream the WNBA’s Washington Mystics and also streamed the DC United at Toronto FC game in 2013.
