Oakdale, NY- For the 3rd straight year,
the Dowling Lacrosse teams joined up to donate 66 bags of shirts,
pants, and winter clothes to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long
Island organization.
Meeting up at the Curtin Student Center on the Rudolph Campus, all
members of the teams came together to gather up the 66 bags of
various pieces of clothing and then loaded them up onto a waiting
truck outside to be transported to a center to be sorted
through. The donated articles will then be given to less
fortunate families on Long Island.
"This is an event we look forward to each year as it bring our
teams together for a great cause." said Men's Head Coach Tim Boyle.
"We hope to continue to make this a tradition for many years to
come."
