Central Islip, N.Y. - The East Coast Conference has broken into the social networking scene with the launch of its official Facebook and Twitter accounts.  The two networks will provide ECC fans access to the latest conference news, championship information, photos and much more!

"One of the main objectives of the ECC is to help promote the conference, our member institutions and student-athletes," ECC Commissioner Bob Dranoff said.  "We feel that our website (eccsports.org) has really moved forward over the last year in highlighting team and individual achievements and activities. With this next step in developing our social networking through Facebook and Twitter, we hope to do an even better job in communicating with all those fans of the ECC and our members."

The Facebook and Twitter accounts will provide information featured on the conference website, as well as supplemental content including photo galleries, videos and exclusive promotions.
