The #1 CW Post Pioneers will host the #3 University of Bridgeport Purple Knights on Sunday, November 9 at 1:00PM for the ECC Women's Soccer Finals.

Bridgeport took a 2-1 victory over Adelphi in the semifinals.  Emma Woolley notched the Purple Knight's first goal of the day just four minutes into play.  Freshman Marie Biondi secured the win for Bridgeport as she broke a 1-1 tie in the 50th minute.  Bridgeport stretches its win streak to four as it heads into the finals with 16-3-1 overall record. 

After 83 minutes of scoreless play, C.W. Post's Maria Sonnerborg connected with the back of the net to hand the Pioneers a 1-0 edge and the eventual win over Dowling in the semifinals.  The Pioneers are currently 16-2-1 going into the finals.
